• Find free 3D Printing design software - discovered Tinkercad with online design software and database.
• Look through the database to confirm there is no cable organizers already available.
• Measure a Cat6 cable width and design something to hold 8 cables that can snap-in and stay in place unless removed with relative ease.
• Test print revisions and edit for sturdiness, width, smoothed edges, and labelling capabilities with regards to which bank of 8 ports are being organized.
• Print out a full set of the finished design to allow for a 48-port switch (6 prints).
• Test in a real-life situation successfully.
