• Migrated all site Windows servers from Server 2003/2008 to Server 2012 R2 using new hardware.
• Distributed AD at each site had to be demoted prior to swapping server.
• All services were rebuilt on new servers (DHCP, DNS, NTFS shares, etc.).
• Built servers in the office prior to going to each site for quick swaps, including data backups from old server.
• Began virtualization of servers at each site using Hyper-V.
• Reconfigured network devices as needed (IP/VLAN changes, DHCP helpers, etc.).
• Reimaging of machines from the new server using Altiris/WDS.
• Tested everything prior to leaving from multiple machines on different wire closets.
