Aspiring IT Generalist

Aspiring IT Generalist

Greetings! My name is Chris Mackey. Thank you for visiting my resume. First off, my apologies for the photo quality. This is one of maybe 7 total selfies I have taken in my lifetime, so there is opportunity to improve in this area.
I have a passion for improving departmental efficiencies and processes through effective planning and documentation. Lowering technology debt is key, and something that is not always implemented effectively, even with experienced project managers. Additionally I have taken two college Project Management courses and considered it to be a strength of mine ever since.
Documentation is a passion of mine in any aspect of work and life. One of the latest documents I have created is metrics for a (currently wildly successful) YouTube channel. This was first done in Excel, then migrated to M365 Excel, and Google Sheets.
Feel free to look around my website to learn more about my projects and experiences!

Cisco 4331 - Inactive Analogue Line Alerts

Some analogue lines would constantly go down without notice, so I was tasked to find a no-cost solution for this problem.  There are devices which can do this quite easily, however they are not cost efficient for 50 sites, so I did a good deal of research, and this is...

Windows Server Upgrades

Migrated all site Windows servers from Server 2003/2008 to Server 2012 R2 using new hardware. Distributed AD at each site had to be demoted prior to swapping server. All services were rebuilt on new servers (DHCP, DNS, NTFS shares, etc.). Built servers in the office prior to going to each...
